RAZVOJNA BANKA VOJVODINE a.d. Novi Sad is a member of the Central Securities Depository and Clearing House. By the 13/11/2007 Decision of the Securities Commission, the Bank received a license for operating as a Custodian for its organisational unit, Custody Directorate.
Our approach from the very beginning of the development of the custody business has been aimed at a permanent establishment and development of quality services and products according to the international standards, pursuant to individual requirements and needs of the clients.

Custody Services
Custody services include safekeeping of financial assets, and monitoring the securities balance and transactions, reporting all significant events relating to the portfolio, as well as the obligation of achieving rights for securities.
Custody Services to Funds
Custody Directorate has fully automated all of its services related to the administration of funds, including electronic data exchange with the funds management company. Moreover, the Bank provides a wide range of administrative services in the registration and management of securities accounts, as well as in the creation of reports that serve the relevant governmental institutions and a number of supervisors on the market. This way full prevention and complete data protection is provided.
Based on the Licence of the Securities Commission no. 5/0-11-7200/4-07 as of 13/11/2007 on giving consent to operate as a custodian, RAZVOJNA BANKA VOJVODINE a.d. Novi Sad is able to fully perform the following operations:
• opening and managing securities accounts at the Central Securities Depository and Clearing House for and on behalf of the legal owners – the Bank’s clients (the securities account);
• opening and maintaining joint custody securities accounts at the Central Securities Depository and Clearing House as follows:
• for the Bank, on behalf of the legal owners – the Bank’s clients (client anonymity is kept in the shareholders’ record books),
• for the Bank’s clients who are not legal owners of the securities, on behalf of the account of legal owners,
• for the Bank, and on behalf of members of the open-ended or closed-ended fund
• executing orders to transfer securities and warrants for the registration of third parties in securities and keeping the transfer of rights of those securities in order;
• collecting receivables from the issuer based on matured securities, interest and dividends for the legal possessors of such securities and keeping in order the achievement of other rights of the legal owner of securities, the Authorised Bank’s clients;
• lending securities;
• informing the shareholders about the annual meetings of joint stock companies, and representing them at meetings;
• seeing to it that the client’s liabilities in terms of securities, whose legal possessor is the client, are serviced, if the client authorises this;
• performing other duties in accordance with the Law which sets forth investment and voluntary pension funds and with other laws and business regulations of the custodian.
As its core business, the Custodian opens and manages cash accounts for trading in securities.
Cash accounts should be used when clients intend to trade in their securities. This is an account that should be used for funds inflow, based on the sold securities for payment of cash funds when buying securities.
Natural persons can open the RSD or EUR accounts listed for free at all branches of RAZVOJNA BANKA VOJVODINE a.d. Novi Sad. Legal entities can do this at the Bank’s headquarters in Novi Sad, 2, Stražilovska Street.
Custody client status can be obtained by any domestic or foreign entity, legal entity or natural person that concludes an agreement on custody activities with the Custodian.
Our clients include:
• Domestic and foreign natural persons;
• Domestic and foreign legal entities;
• Broker-dealer companies;
• Investment and voluntary pension funds;
• Insurance companies;
• Banks without a custodian permission, and
• Institutional investors.
