“METALS-BANKA” BECOMES THE DEVELOPMENT BANK OF VOJVODINA

On the 37th extraordinary meeting of the Shareholders’ Assembly, held on 28, April 2010, “METALS-BANKA” a.d. Novi Sad changed its business name into the Development Bank of Vojvodina, in accordance with the decision of the shareholders.

Virtually, this determines the Bank’s business orientation, which is going to give more importance to the finance of the development and infrastructural projects on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in the future.

As of July 2009, the Executive Council of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, which possesses 61.9% of the overall number of the Bank’s shares, has been the majority owner of the Bank. Joining together resources with the funds of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina began with the execution of the agreement with the Development and Guaranty Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. This means that the Development Bank of Vojvodina is going to provide a significant financial incentive to the projects, necessary for the development of the Province.
